Mark Elliot is Professor of Data Science at the University of Manchester. He has published widely in the areas of confidentiality, privacy, and disclosure, and attitudes research. He is co-director of the National Centre for Research Methods.Ian Fairweather is the Researcher Development manager for the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Manchester. He was formerly a Lecturer in Social Anthropology and has taught undergraduate sociology and anthropology, and qualitative methods at the post-graduate level. He has also worked with methods@manchester, artsmethods@manchester, and the Higher Education Academy.Wendy Olsen is Professor of Socio-Economics at the University of Manchester. She has published extensively in the areas of the sociology of work and research methodology, including two textbooks on research methods.Maria Pampaka is Lecturer in Social Statistics and Education at the University of Manchester. She leads a number of projects substantially focused on mathematics education and learning outcomes, and has published in these areas with the use of quantitative methods and measurement.
