As everyone in the garden hustles to prepare for Christmas Day, they all eagerly anticipate the crowning moment of the holiday: the arrival of Grannypillar's scrumptious fruitcake. Suddenly, Christmas is hijacked when Iggy and Ziggy Cockroach--voiced on the video/DVD by national radio personalities RRick & BubbaS--steal Grannypillar's fruitcake. Later, through an act of unheard generosity, Hermie and his friends are reminded that Christmas is not about fruitcake, but about God's gift to the world--His son, Jesus.
