It was modified and expanded by their business partner, Ray Kroc, who later bought out the business interests of the McDonald's brothers. McDonald's Corporation is one of the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, serving nearly 47 million customers daily. But it hasn't been all good, McDonald's has been involved in a number of lawsuits, the most infamous was the 1994 decision in The McDonald's Coffee Case. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added. We believe books such as this represent a new and exciting lexicon in the sharing of human knowledge.
