This is a resource book for teachers/educators who teach K-1st Grades. The first chapter is dedicated by sharing wonderful techniques on how to teach reading groups effectively. It gives many, hands-on examples with photos. The author took photos of her class last year as she taught her groups to show how they interacted. If you are a visual learner, this book is perfect for you. This book will give several ideas and activities for differientiated learning. There will be photos of many games, some homemade, some bought. The book also gives ideas of decorations for the hallway, doors, bulletin boards, etc. She has taken pictures of these crafts during her years of teaching. She has made most of these available for use as printables. So, the book is 8.5 x 11. She has made the worksheets up on her own as the years have passed. The book is loaded with ideas, crafts, photos, worksheets, printables, and teaching ideas. Hopefully, you will gain very useful knowledge as you read and look at through the book. Enjoy! The author loves giving motivational speeches to teachers that entertain yet also helps them remember what is was that made them fall in love with teaching in the first place. She gives advice on how to make it through the year with those little tikes and make it a very successful year with parents and students no matter how difficult they are.
