From 1987 to 1999 he was director of education at the Rush Alzheimer's Disease Center in Chicago, a federally funded center. He is now director of education at the Mather Institute on Aging, a division of Mather LifeWays in Evanston, Illinois. He lives in Chicago Illinois.
