After finding an unusual object at an estate sale a man known only as Jack begins a journey into the depths of sociopathy. His friends disappear and are consumed by a wrenching darkness that spreads like a virus. The veil of normality is abolished by the desire for freedom without emotion and action without consequence, lifting him to delusions of a super humanity of which he will be the father.
