Beginning with an introduction to American literature, this volume provides a detailed look at Herman Melville and his influences. Included is a background of Melville's classic novel, "Moby-Dick," as well as a look at his other work, including "Billy Budd." Also provided is a description of the prominent genres, styles, and themes of Melville's work, as well as a look at adaptations of his novels. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books.
