"An Unpleasant Predicament" is a short story by Fyodor Dostoevsky, first published in "Short Stories" (1963). Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky (1821 - 1881) was a Russian novelist, essayist, short story writer, journalist, and philosopher.
