This book is for anyone who suspects they could be doing more about social injustice, but they don't know where to begin. Through readings, videos, and activities, you will be guided on an exploration of the many hidden and misunderstood forms of inequity, and how they are perpetuated and upheld in our society. While this book focuses on racism, it touches on the intersections and similarities between all forms of oppression, making the case that if we wish to dismantle any form of social injustice, we must strive to dismantle them all. The first section, Building an Equity Mindset, will engage you in the first two stages of change agent development: Awareness and Analysis. The second section, Applying an Equity Mindset, will guide you in the next two stages: Action and Accountability.
