Professor Joel A. Vilensky is emeritus professor of anatomy and cell biology at IU School of Medicine - Fort Wayne. He is also a professor of human anatomy and medical imaging at Huntington University.
Dr. Vilensky holds a bachelor’s in Anthropology from Michigan State University, a master of science in Biological Anthropology from University of Chicago, and a PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin.
Joel is a renowned researcher and he has published his work in scientific and clinical journals in the fields of back pain, knee reconstruction, and spinal cord injury.
Dr. Vilensky has published numerous textbooks on both anatomy and radiology (some of them are published in multiple languages). The most popular ones are Netter’s Concise Radiologic Anatomy and Medical Imaging of Normal and Pathologic Anatomy.
