This story follows an opportunistic desperate scientist who tries to find a cure for a deadly disease in the aftermath of a mass exodus on her home planet. She is met by heavy opposition from her husband and other wealthier and more powerful pharmaceutical companies. She must turn to alternative methods and do whatever it takes to find a cure and hopefully save her twin sister who suffers from the deadly disease. The race is on to mold the future of human kind.
