Mr. Craven, who you can tell simply from his name is not a very nice person, wants to marry Frank Hunter's mother in order to swindle her out of her property. Actually, he'd just as soon get the property without marrying her, but he cannot think of another way. Frank is a problem, of course, since he is less trusting than his mother, and is convinced Craven is up to no good. But, Mr. Craven is nothing if not crafty, and he convinces an equally-bad man he's worked with before to take Frank on an European tour and shove him off a glacier in Switzerland. Simple and straightforward murder, which, if it works, will give Craven a clear shot at Frank's mother and her money. Less
