In Fruit Doesn't Feel, each lively spread provides a fruit of a certain letter experiencing an emotion with the same letter, providing children an opportunity to identify big feelings and how they might present themselves or make us feel. Using a combination of both common and little known fruits, the book's clever and alliterative text, including Are grapes grumpy? and Is dragon fruit disenchanted? goes on to provide a definition of that emotion and also a silly and imaginative exchange by the fruit further explaining its big feeling.
