This study offers a complete picture of planned social housing in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. In each of these countries, vigorous efforts are being made to achieve a more satisfying life for all groups of society. Based on the intelligent conception of the social use of land, government-directed programs of securing available land and dividing large properties into small independent and semiindependent farms are reestablishing the man on the soil.
