Wally Lamb (born Oct 17, 1950) is an American author known as the writer of New York Times bestselling novels: I’ll Take You There, We Are Water, Wishin’ and Hopin’, The Hour I First Believed, I Know This Much is True and She’s Come Undone. Lamb's novels; She's Come Undone and I Know This Much Is True, were both selected for Oprah's Book Club.
His awards include National Endowment for the Arts and the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, the Connecticut Center for the Book's Lifetime Achievement Award.
