In this unique time-shift romance series, two young lovers find each other—once again—as trouble brews in Depression Era New York City. Regardless of what the calendar says, Jack and Susan are always, eternally, twenty-seven years old. They are destined for each other like Hepburn and Tracy, Dagwood and Blondie, Nick and Nora. And somehow, they always acquire a shaggy white dog on the way to falling in love. In 1933, Jack and Susan are both married to the Wrong People. Their respective spouses aren’t so awful as to inspire homicide, but when one of them turns up dead, Susan becomes the cops’ favorite suspect.
