A book of great social impact that provides a comprehensive overview of the effects of domestic violence containing real life stories that give evidence of the problems that affect us all, not only within our communities, but globally. I applaud its content and recommend this type of thematic to help the reader understand the factors that bring members of our society to remain in domestic terrorism, which has a detrimental inter-generational impact.To remain oblivious to the reality that women & children face daily in our nation and around the world, is to condemn all of us to continue perpetuating this horrible crime and remain hopeless. This book will help you recognize if you are in an abusive relationship, giving you the first step to free yourself from a lifetime of abuse. To those of you that live in a healthy relationship, I exhort you to explore with the author a societal issue that may be unknown to you. Only by understanding the behaviors that lead to this violence we will be able to educate ourselves. Only by preventing & recognizing this crime and protecting the most vulnerable, our children, can we achieve a society where harmony respect and freedom for all prevails.
