It''s not like I went looking for a summer romance. It just sort of happened. Dave was handsome, smart, and he was planning to be a lawyer. I couldn''t help but compare him to Lenny. As charming and dynamic as Lenny was, he had quit school and always seemed to be getting into trouble. When Dave and I were together, everything was easy. No fights, no tears... At least, that''s how it seemed when we were working together that summer. But then it was over and I was back in the city...and so was Lenny. The powerful feelings between us hadn''t faded, and wasn''t about to settle for a part-time girlfriend. How would I ever choose between them?
