When single mother Tai Hall realizes her son Kordelle has a bad habit of forgetting his lunch box, she turns to Facebook to vent, seeking advice from other parents- trending the hashtag #LunchBoxChronicles. After moving her family from the suburbs of Prince George¿s County to the inner city of Baltimore, MD, she quickly realizes that Kordelle¿s forgetful behavior leaves him in a life-threatening position and devises a plan to wake him up to the realities of the world around him.What began as a sounding board blossoms into a platform of an unconventional and comedic mother-son relationship enveloping a journey across the fifty states that pits Tai and Kordelle face-to-face with racism, police brutality, stereotypes, and crime.
