A friend's sinister betrayal A town with supernatural danger Romance with its challenges, pleasures, and joy For Eve Griffith, 32, who grew up in Sparse, Massachusetts, life was never like this before. But now, there are dangers from a society of haters. There are good and bad friends, it is true, but the bad friends are out of control. And, her tranquil life of a big house and a loving husband is being tested by sudden murders as well as memories of a vicious past. Through all of these challenges, there is Tuppie Morgenstern: full of old lady charm, always bringing brownies and a warm hug, and eager to offer frank advice. To Eve, she is a light in a world of chaos. They would remain together until an unforeseen crime would challenge their world forever. Young adult (YA) appeal THEY WILL AND DO LOVE IT! This book would make a great holiday gift for any family member from Dad to Mom to grandmother to grandfather to a cousin. It is reasonably priced and available on Kindle and paperback. It is as funny as it is sad. It will appeal to young adults (the YA market) and just about everybody else because it is not old-fashioned, and it is not a typical, sappy love story. Still, there is a lot of love in it, and there are all kinds of bizarre happenings that are bigger than life. There are shapeshifters, but not the ones readers are accustomed to. Also, there is a zombie, which is a bit of a shape shifter. This book celebrates the MeToo cause, which as we know, has been empowering women and children. But, it is not a story about abuse. It is about friends and their journey. It is a bit of a dark comedy, but it is pure entertainment and frequent laughter. You can even laugh and cry within the same minute. You may be surprised by how much this book uplifts you. But, this author is not naïve. This author knows that real issues are relevant all over the world no matter where people travel whether by airplane, train, shoes, sneakers, rail, or car. But, there is always room to smile, to laugh, and to cry. The only answers are not in a history book or under a cosmetics counter or in a computer file. Cell phones/cellphones are not all that matter in life. An iPad is not a life changer, but it is a joy. There is more to life than sports like baseball, football, golf, tennis, boxing, soccer, and basketball. There is more to life than travel, drama, suspense, paintings, art, and television. There are books.
