Raven Morrigan lives a successful life of comfortable routine. She works steady hours as a supervisor at a local retail store by day and spends her evenings reading romance novels. She lives a comfortable human life all-in-all. There's only two problems; she's grown tired and bored of her routine and dreams of something more exciting. Also, she isn't human. Raven struggles between wanting to break free from her life of routine and wanting to keep her inhuman identity a secret from both her friends and from the Fae nobles that want her dead. Fate intervenes when Raven and Jennifer, (her only human friend who knows of her true identity) meet a strange and bewilderingly handsome man who brings excitement and danger into their lives.
