The title of this book, SEA STORIES, tells the entire tale.  Enclosed within these 276      pages you will find excerpts of some of the most famous nautical stories of all time.

Authors whose names you've known your whole life are here:  Daniel Defoe, Charles Dickens, J. Fenimore Cooper, Victor Hugo, Herman Melville and W. Clark Russell to name just a few. Stories such as The Mutiny of the Bounty, Moby Dick, The Swiss Family Robinson, Two Years Before the Mast, David Copperfield, Treasure Island, The Life and Adventures of Robinson Crusoe and many, many more.

None of these stories are complete.  The editor has selected the portion of the stories that he found most exciting, or that he felt justified their inclusion in this book. After reading many of these excerpts, you may even wish to once again, read the entire book they represent.

The reaction of the 21st Century population almost certainly will be; "Wow!  These old time sea-faring men were real MEN!"  SEA STORIES isn't a book for everyone, but if you love tales of action, adventure and intrigue at sea, this is the book for you.
