For almost twenty years, Tomonobu Fujiwara, a masterless samurai, has pursued the wizard who murdered his family and destroyed his clan. Now as his revenge is about to be complete his enemy escapes to a parallel world. The warrior follows, finding himself in a place that is very different from his home, where he encounters new hazards, allies, strange people and strange customs.
