Looking for a new start, recently divorced Lydia Davis hopes to settle into her new life as a Middle School English teacher in small town Seton's Hill. Smart, funny and dedicated to her work, romantic entanglements are the last thing she has on her mind. Quite content with her life and her new friends, Lydia is unprepared for the determined and single minded attentions of the former Marine Corps officer and current High School teacher and coach Dan Cooper. Lydia resists the growing attraction until trouble comes to Seton's Hill threatening not only her peaceful uncomplicated world, but putting her life in danger. Resolved to keep Lydia safe, Cooper will do whatever it takes to make sure she comes to no harm.
