Dawn Oliver is Emeritus Professor of Constitutional Law. She was Dean of the Faculty from 1993-98 and again in 2007. She was editor of Public Law from 1993-2002, Lionel Cohen Lecturer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, 1995, Associate Fellow of Newnham College Cambridge 1995-98, Member of the Royal Commission on Reform of the House of Lords, 1999-2000, Member of the Fabian Society Commission on the Future of the Monarchy 2002-2003, Chair of the UK Constitutional Law Group 2005-2010, and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Constitutional Law 2007-2010. She has been a member of the Study of Parliament Group since 1991, and its President since 2010. She was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2005. She was elected a Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1996, was Deputy Treasurer in 2010 and was Treasurer of the Middle Temple in 2011. She was appointed Honorary QC in 2012.
