Janyl lives on a farm with her adopted Mother and other farm hands. She spends her days lazing in the sun and scrumping. She did, that is, until her world is turned upside down when her Mother is murdered.What Janyl doesn't realise is that the world her Mother created for her and the others on the farm isn't the world that everyone else is living in. Janyl soon realises that her brother isn't the worst monster in the world, but only one of many. Soon she will have to decide whether she is going to lay down and accept her fate or stand up and fight the establishment and The Farm.
