Authorised version. Large paper issue of twelve copies. Each vol. has separate register and pagination (page numbers appearing only on the first page of each book). The Apocrypha has separate register, no pagination and the direction line "Vol. II." but appears after the N.T. in vol. 3. The Apocrypha includes 3 Maccabees, which had not appeared in any English Bible since 1551. The notes are apparently taken from Wilson's 'Abstract of the historical part of the Old Testament' and other writings. The preliminaries include a list of editions of the Bible from 1526. With a 7-page list of subscribers. The large paper issue also appeared in 6 vols., each with a separate titlepage.
