Ruth was born in Okeana, Ohio and was one of six children of Homer and Blanche George. She was a near life long resident of Warren County and Lebanon, Ohio. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School in the class of 1936.Ruth was an avid collector of antiques and was proprietor of "Red Hall" antiques for many years and retired at 85.
She loved to travel, decorate, and belonged to several social clubs.
