Maoism, also known as Mao Zedong Thought, is a variant of Marxism, which is itself a form of communism, derived from the teachings of the Chinese political leader Mao Zedong (1893-1976). This book serves as a comprehensive guide to some of its most influential thinkers, known as the gang of four: Jiang Qing, Zhang Chunqiao, Yao Wenyuan, and Wang Hongwen. Included is a look at their lives, battles, movements, political parties, and much more. Also referenced is supposed affiliate members Kang Sheng, Xie Fuzhi, and Mao Yuanxin.
