William Schaberg is a scholar, educator and bookseller based in Fairfield, Connecticut. He is the author of The Nietzche Canon: A Publication History and Bibliography. Schaberg earned degrees in history and philosophy from Fairfield University, where developed a keen interest in the history of ideas and went on to co-teach a course on philosophers such as Friedrich Nietzsche and William James. He spent three years in the Air Force and ran his family's blueprint shop in Norwalk, CT for thirty years, after which he sold the company and worked for its new owner as a vice-president. In retirement, Schaberg has focused on his rare book business, Athena Rare Books, and is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America.
