Zosimos of Panopolis was a famed alchemist of ancient times, a man of wisdom and a man of many secrets. He turned silver into gold and healed the sick. Many of his works are written in ancient Greek. Zosimos was also a Gnostic mystic who lived in the third to fourth century. In this novel, he appears as a voice to Tom Hart, a mathematician and physicist who is seeking a deeper understanding of life. A man consumed by ancient history and esoteric traditions, Hart moves ahead to combine his knowledge of Science with that of ancient wisdom. He delves into parallel worlds and dimensions, believing that supernatural powers exist in other dimensions, powers that can be harnessed by humans. He is guided by Zosimos into finding an ancient text that proves it all. Reading this book takes you on a journey into a new consciousness. You get a glimpse of who you really are, the magnanimous human being who can do it all. You follow Tom Hart and Zosimos as they explore human potential and discover a realm of untold possibilities, a realm where particles move faster than the speed of light and a realm you never knew you could connect to. While finding the ancient text that proves the existence of a supernatural realm is the focal point of Hart's mission, he soon discovers that ten critical pages are missing from it. His lingering passion to know more of ancient secrets, key information which he believes was intended for mankind, pushes him into finding the missing pages. What more could have been said in those pages, he wonders, waiting for some clarity from the voice of Zosimos and hoping he knows the contents of the missing pages of the ancient text. But, Zosimos says little at this point. Hart's journey is now a long one, and, one that takes him to the sacred monasteries of Egypt, Ethiopia and Jerusalem. Zosimos reappears at the end of the novel and engages Hart in a final discussion of the powers of a supernatural realm and Man's journey beyond this life.
