Underwater photographer Josh reunites with his estranged father on the island of Mona in the Caribbean. Curiosity and a sense of adventure uncover clues to a secret the island has hid for over 70 years. Fate brings together the photographer with Maddie the owner of a Puerto Rican dive shop. Together the two press for answers on both land and underwater.
Josh and Maddie uncover the fate of a missing U-boat and crew along with the treasure they had carried from Europe. Just as they prepare to make the miracle discovery public, others press in to take it all away. The pair move from captivity to escape and back again. They battle foes both above and below ground on the tiny tropical island that has been the crossroads of human activity in the region for over 500 years.
