Bringas is a novel published in 1884 by Benito Pérez Galdós , one of those that make up his great series of contemporary Spanish novels that, when almost entirely developed in scenarios of the capital of Spain , have literally generated the " Galdosian Madrid " , similar to the London of Dickens or the Paris of Balzac . The novel, together with Dr. Centeno (1883) and Tormento (1884), closes a possible and discussed trilogy that takes place in the years before the 1868 Revolution.
