While Lisbeth Salander is spending supposedly happy days in the Caribbean, Mikael Blomkvist is ready to launch an issue of Millenium on a dark story of prostitutes from Eastern countries investigated by a journalist. He and his companion are murdered. Mikael would like to see Lisbeth again and finds her one evening in a street in Stockholm, narrowly escaping an attack.
