It starts in a Derbyshire pub, and by way of a fairground in Wales, a TV studio for a massive Charity event, an animal sanctuary and on to the criminal world of east London. Sean Connery plays a part and story ends in HMP Wormwood Scrubs. In the other tales we meet everyday people - or are they? Humorous, quirky, sometimes weird. we live among people like them and don't always know them.
