A Study In Infant Water Baptism is presented here in the form of a theological discussion. Bishop Hayes presents an affirmative for the baptism of infants and small children of Christian entitled Children of Christians Are Holy Seed. It is demonstrated that Christian water baptism is the fulfillment Old Testament circumcision. The children of the Hebrews were circumcised at eighth day of age, so, then, the children of Christians may, and indeed ought to be, baptized at or about the same age. This first affirmative was followed by a rebuttal to the arguments presented by Bishop Hayers. Then, the final essay of the book rebuts the rebuttal. This is a ground breaking work, in that Bishop Jerry L Hayes is the first ordained Oneness Pentecostal clergyman to take an affirmative position on paedo-baptism in modern history. Less
