I have retold some of the miracles that are recorded in the gospels that Jesus performed. These are just a few and there are many more. The Bible informs us that if all the things that Jesus did were written down, all the books in the world would not be able to tell of them. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. John 21:25(KJV)Jesus did these things so that people would be able to know who he was, the very son of God and the saviour of the world. As we look at Jesus, we see what God the Father is like, because Jesus said, If you have seen me you have seen the Father. In Jesus we can see what the heavenly Father is like. When we see what motivated Jesus, we know what motivates the Father. God is love, and Jesus displayed that love nature of the Father for people then and for us right now. That is why he loved and still loves the people, still teaches them and still heals them. In each story I have included facts about the times that the miracle took place, the people of the time and something about what the place would have been like as well. These are times where we as humankind need the right faith to overcome all fear and every adversity. May these stories of the intervention of God into human affairs lift our hearts above every circumstance, and may we understand together more about the one who came from heaven especially for us.
