A fictional tale that follows the lives and loves of a group of ordinary women, living or working, around the Soho area of London, in 1969. Set from the 'summer of '69', amid the hustle and bustle of busy London, we follow the highs and lows, ups and downs of these characters. It is the story of how each deals with events leading up towards 1970 and the coming new decade. Gracie & D, are twin sisters born in Dublin, Ireland. Causing mischief and mayhem in their stride. Veronica, lives in a large house with her husband and adoring housekeeper, living a life of lavish extravagance. George, had a harsh upbringing. Leaving her home in rural Cornwall and moving to London, she lives her life as a hard working man. Until she meets the ravishing fiery redhead, Maggie. Cassidy, came to England many years ago from the States. In the midst of London, she manages the local 'Women's' club, for salt of the earth 'Fani', who lost her true love during the blitz. Jo, is an androgynous photographer, who lives life to the fullest extent, wine, women and song! But, yearns for more. Mary, a twiggy lookalike, is a sweet and talented clothes designer, whose life is about to change dramatically. Smoky, is a stripper working at clubs and bars in and around Soho.
