When a belly dancer dubbed "Little Egypt" performed at the the Chicago World's Fair in 1893, visitors were simultaneously entertained and offended at the erotic dancing. These feelings toward erotic dancing and stripping have remained in the over one hundred year span since Little Egypt, and the industry of strip clubs is vast and lucrative worldwide. This book looks at early pioneers in contemporary strip clubs, the legal ramifications of the industry, the differences in establishments and the best strip clubs to frequent.
