She was about five foot seven, very slender, black hair shoulder length and green eyes. She wore a very professional grey business suit with a white blouse. Jesse had a strong resemblance to someone I had seen before; I just couldn't put my finger on who it was.Her jewelry was very subtle. She wore a slender gold necklace with a ruby, she also had a gold ruby ring and a ruby tennis bracelet. Jesse wore a deep red shade of lipstick that matched her red fingernails. I also noticed a delicate scent of Chanel Number 5. Her stunning wardrobe was finished off with four or five inch Stewart Weitzman black leather shoes.Jesse invited me to have a seat. Her back was towards the window. Through the window the sun shone brightly and the sun's rays splashed around her head and shoulders creating an angelic aurora around her. I had never seen anything like this before. She picked up my resume, there was a long pause while she reviewed its contents. The pause lasted for several minutes. Suddenly, it came to me, she reminded me of Audrey Hepburn. The likeness was so clear, they could have been twins, the two looked so much alike. The interview questions continued for several minutes. In between Jesse's questions and my answers I noticed behind the desk was a beautiful water color painting of an oriental garden including a Koi pond with purple water hyacinths sailing on the ripples in the water. There was something peaceful about the water garden. My focus returned to the task at hand , answering completely Jesse's questions.Looking directly at Jesse, I couldn't help but wonder, is this how Adam felt when he first saw Eve in the Garden of Eden?Apparently, I answered all her questions satisfactorily. Jesse offered me the job as, her operations director. She reached out to shake my hand and said We are going to do great things together, And we did.So began a twenty-eight year romance with the love of my life. In the pages that follow are selected love letters we shared over the years.
